General Description: The Series 6000 products are power supplies, power converters and battery chargers designed to provide DC power and status to systems from AC power sources and DC power sources. The units are available as type 10 plug in modules or in open frame chassis’ for mounting on a panel.
Status outputs reflect power failure, low battery level, dc output failure and over current. On module based units there are auxiliary alarm inputs combined to form an "all alarm" output. These auxiliary inputs allow general system status input to be monitored.
The chassis version has a 16 position screw terminal for connections and the type 10 module has a 56 pin card edge connector.

Download Manual (Adobe pdf)The Model 6500 modules are a Series of Regulated Switching Power Supplies for use within a Wescom 400 or Type 10 chassis or module rack. The modules have an ABSJ plastic front panel with a lexan overlay. The 6500 is offered with a wide range of input and output voltages (see below for details), as well as power output ratings (25 & 50 watts).
The input voltage connections are made to the Power Supply via a three terminal connector rated @ 10 amps, located directly on the module PC board. All other connections ( output voltages, relay outputs, etc. ) are made via a 56 pin card edge connector via a type 10 enclosure.

POWER SUPPLY CHASSIS
A chassis mounted switching power supply which is UL approved. Input is 110 Vac and the output is 12 Vdc with a current limit of 1 amp.

BATTERY CHARGER CHASSIS
A chassis mounted battery charger that employs a switching power supply which is UL approved. Input is 110 Vac and the output is 13.8 Vdc with a current limit of 1 amp. These specific parameters are for the charging of sealed lead acid batteries. Current to charge the batteries may come from the internal power supply or external solar panels. The unit provides the controls for the charging process as well as providing status outputs, remote reset and the connection to a solar panel input.

Switching power supplies which are UL approved and mounted on a type 10 plug in module. The Model 6101 is single 12 Vdc 1 amp supply while Model 6102 is a dual 12 Vdc 1 amp unit. Input to both models is 110 Vac. Specifications are similar to the model 6001 listed above.
